Gog and Magog

The last of the giants of Albion, their effigies carried in the Lord Mayor's Show since at least the reign of Henry V. The wooden statues in the Guildhall are their third incarnation — their predecessors were burned in the Great Fire. They are the ancient guardians of the City of London.
