The greatest wizard of Britain — half-demon by birth, prophet by gift, architect of the Arthurian age. He transported Stonehenge from Ireland, foretold the coming of Arthur, and in the end was imprisoned by the enchantress Nimue in a tree, a cave, or a tower of air, depending on who tells the tale.
