Warrior of the Gog Magog Hills

The iron-age earthworks atop the Gog Magog Hills south of Cambridge are said to be haunted by a great phantom warrior — perhaps the giant Gogmagog himself, Britain's last titan. Some accounts describe a mounted figure who challenges travellers at dusk; others speak only of an oppressive silence and the feeling of being watched from the ancient ramparts.
